Hey Lauren…..If you had kept chewing that oyster, you might have found a pearl. Papa said you needed some hot sauce. What happened? Did you swallow it or spit it out….we couldn’t tell what you were going to do. Oh well, you were very adventuresome to give it a go!

The original video is about a minute longer, but it did not end in victory. Lauren tried to get it down, but eventually the oyster won and found a home in a napkin, rather than in her belly. She did, however, ask for a second helping of peas, which came in a massive bowl. She promptly ate every single one of them! So, class, which would you prefer to eat: a raw oyster or a large bowl of English peas?

Lauren,
I’m so proud of you for trying…I did the same thing you did and I had sauce!!! Yucky.
I like peas too and would have traded the oyster in a heartbeat for more of them. I’m
glad they cut the video off when they did because I honestly thought….well, nevermind.
